Sub-module: Alternative procedures; Second session: Conditions when prosecution is not mandatory (Article 231)

December 5, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed prosecutors of the tenth generation, is conducting the theoretical training under the module "Alternative Procedures" with trainer Mr. Kujtim Munishi, Chief Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina.

This session is addressing the following: the state prosecutor is not obliged to initiate criminal prosecution or may waive prosecution, to elaborate the notion when prosecution is not mandatory and to recognize the advantages and shortcomings of this institute.

The training methodology is interactive discussions method and practical cases.

Beneficiaries of the training are 21 newly appointed prosecutors 2023/24.
