The sub-module: The state prosecutor, the defense of the injured party and the defendant as a party in the criminal procedure; Second session: The defendant and the defense in the criminal procedure

On October 10 2023, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the newly appointed judges of the tenth generation, is carrying out the theoretical training from the module on "The State Prosecutor, the defense and the defendant as parties in the criminal procedure" with trainer Mrs. Laura Pula, Prosecutor at the State Prosecutor's Office.

In the framework of this session, the following are being addressed: The defendant during the preliminary procedure, the meaning of the notion of expert in criminal proceedings, the defendant after the indictment, the defendant in cases of the restraining order, the freezing of assets and the temporary measure and the defense of defendants in criminal proceedings.

The training methodology is being implemented with practical cases as well as with the interactive method.

Beneficiaries of the training are 29 newly appointed judges including one from the Bosnian community and one from the Turkish community.
