Sub-module: Development of judicial skills" – Mock Trial for newly appointed judges, ninth generation, second group

On January 19, 2023, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Program, for the newly appointed judges of the ninth generation for the second group, conducted a "Mock trial" in accordance with the contents of the training program and with the trainer engaged Mr. Agim Kurmehaj, Chief Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Peja and Mr. Sultan Dobraj, judge at the Basic Court in Gjakova.

During this simulation, practical case defined in the module were developed and each judge performed the assigned role. In the framework of this exercise, the judges have advanced the techniques of the opening and closing argument, indirect and direct questioning and the announcement of the verdict divided into appropriate roles for the case.

The mock trial by the newly appointed judges was carried out in the premises of the Basic Court in Pristina.

Beneficiaries of the training are 18 newly appointed judges, one of whom is from the Bosnian community.
