Kosovo Justice Academy sings a Memorandum of Understanding with the Agency for Administration of Sequestrated or Confiscated Assets

July 12 2023, the Kosovo Justice Academy hosted a meeting for the Agency for Administration of Sequestrated or Confiscated Assets with representatives of both institutions, Mr. Enver Fejzullahu – Executive Director of the Kosovo Justice Academy, and Mr. Enver Krasniqi – Deputy Director of the Agency for Administration of Sequestrated or Confiscated Assets.

Purpose of this meeting is further empowerment of the intern-institutional cooperation on matters of common interest and accomplishing this through a memorandum of Understanding between both institutions.

In this meeting it was discussed about coordinating activities for carrying out the activities according to the law on Administration of Sequestrated and Confiscated Assets, and according to the Law on the Academy of Justice.

The meeting concluded with Mr. Fejzullahu and Mr. Krasniqi reaching and signing the Memorandum of Understanding that will allow exchange of information and carry out joint activities in the area of sequestration and confiscation of illicit assets and its administration according to the legislation. This agreement, will also enable the officials of the Agency for Administration of Sequestrated and Confiscated Assets to benefit from the KJA trainings along with judges and prosecutors on legal matters that are under the scope of their work.
