The current practice of the Constitutional Court in relation with the practice of the ECtHR according to the requirements in the civil field

On March 26, 2024, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with the Council of Europe, the project Supporting the Constitutional Court in the implementation and distribution of the standards of the European Court for Human Rights, within the Continuous Training Program, are conducting the training on the Current practice of the Constitutional Court in relation with the ECtHR practice according to the requirements in the civil field.

Trainers engaged in this activity are: Mr. Hajredin Kuqi, professor at the University of Pristina - Faculty of Law, and Mr. Islam Sllamniku, permanent judicial trainer at the Academy of Justice.

Purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of judges regarding the new knowledge and the main decisions in the current practice of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo in connection with the practice of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) according to the requirements in the civil field.

Training methodology is combination with theoretical presentations and interactive discussions on cases from the judicial practice.

Beneficiaries of this training are judges of the Special Chamber of the Supreme Court, judges from Basic Courts and professional associates.
