Contested Procedure

On December 3, 2025, the Academy of Justice, in cooperation with GIZ and within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, will conduct a Basic Module training for professional associates and legal officers in the civil field on the topic “Contested Procedure.”

The training will be led by Mr. Rrustem Thaçi and Mr. Zenel Leku, Judge at the Supreme Court of Kosovo. Its objective is to strengthen participants’ knowledge of civil litigation, covering areas such as the lawsuit and its types, amendments to the lawsuit, preliminary review, jurisdiction and competences, parties and representation, procedural presumptions related to the subject matter of the dispute, as well as judgments and their different forms.

A blended methodology will be applied, combining theoretical explanations with interactive discussions.

The beneficiaries of this training include professional associates and legal officers from all Kosovo courts (Civil Division), officers from the Free Legal Aid Agency, and representatives of NGOs.
