On April 8, 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, conducted a training on “Criminal Procedure Against Adults for Criminal Offenses Committed Against Minors, with a Focus on the Protection of Minor Victims and Evidence Collection.”

The trainers were Mr. Burim Ademi, Judge at the Supreme Court of Kosovo, and Ms. Sanije Seferi, Prosecutor at the Basic Prosecution Office in Peja. The training aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge of criminal offenses under Article 108 of the Criminal Procedure Code, ensuring the correct application of relevant legal provisions. It also addressed the legal restrictions involved in taking statements from child victims, emphasizing the importance of the presence of appropriate institutional representatives.

The methodology was interactive, combining theoretical and practical guidance on the interpretation of legal provisions, the application of international conventions, and their integration into judicial practice.

Beneficiaries of this training included judges and prosecutors from the juvenile departments of basic courts, as well as victim advocates, professional associates, and police officers.
