Specialized Training Program on Corruption of Public Officials and Abuse of Official Duty – Session I

April 4-6 2023, Academy of Justice in cooperation with US-DOJ/OPDAT within the Continuous Training Program is conducting Specialized Training on Corruption of Public Officials and Abuse of Official Duty – Session I.

Trainers engaged in this activity are: Mr. John Hanley Resident Legal Advisor in the US Embassy in Kosovo, Mr. Peter Halpern, Resident Legal Advisor in the US Embassy in Bulgaria, Mr. Eric Cox, Resident Legal Advisor in the US Embassy in Kosovo, Mr. Bashkim Hyseni judge in the appeals Court, and Mr. Kujtim Munishi, Chief Prosecutor in the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina.

Purpose of this training was to extend the participants knowledge of participants on elements of the criminal offence of corruption of public officials and legal provisions related to investigation and adjudication of these offences.

Beneficiaries of this training are judges and prosecutors of the Basic instance, prosecutors from the SPRK and Police Officers.
