Training program for judges in initial training in non-judicial institutions: Information and Privacy Agency
On October 30, 2023, as part of the training program, respectively the training program in non-judicial institutions for newly appointed judges, a training/visit was carried out in the "Information and Privacy Agency", with the trainer Mr. Valon Kryeziu, Director of this Agency.
The purpose of this training was to inform the newly appointed judges about the activities and the legal structure of the operation performed by this institution. The judges had the opportunity to be informed about the legal framework for protection of privacy and discrete information as well as the duties, responsibilities and forms of personal data processing. The focus was on dealing with the challenges of this institution, which is responsible for protection of the state data, in the light of the incoming requests such as local government for access, having the possibility to change, destroy and delete the personal data.
During the training, the conversation method was implemented where the participants, together with the trainer from the Information and Privacy Agency, discussed topics of common interest, which were related to their work in the future.
Beneficiaries of the training are judges of the tenth generation, including one member from the Bosnian community and one from the Turkish community.
