Training program in non-judicial institutions training/visits of newly appointed judges and prosecutors at Kosovo Customs
On February 10, 2023, the Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program, organized a visit to the Kosovo Customs for newly appointed judges and prosecutors (ninth generation).
In addition to practical training in the courts, judges and prosecutors who are following the initial training to various institutions of the justice system and outside of them whose work is related to their work.
One of the institutions is the Kosovo Customs, where the representatives of this institution, Mr. Ajet Sejdija and Mr. Liridon Buzhala, Head of the unit in the investigation sector, in this training/visit which aims to inform about the criminal law system in the field of customs in Kosovo and the role of the customs officer. Judges and prosecutors were also informed about the identification of practical problems and inter-institutional cooperation between institutions.
It was also discussed regarding the legal powers of the Customs, the infrastructure that regulates this field, as well as the role of the customs officer. During today's training/visit, judges and prosecutors asked questions and developed interactivity with the trainers who disclosed the challenges and data from this institution.
Beneficiaries of this visit were newly appointed judges and prosecutors (IX generation).
