
Training program in non - judicial institutions – visit of the newly appointed judges to the Police of the Republic of Kosovo – Generation XII
June 13 2025, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training for newly appointed judges of the 12th generation, according to the training calendar for visits to non-judicial institutions organized a visit to the Kosovo Police where the judges were presented with the functions, and the challenges by representatives of this institution, the Director, Major and Colonel who explained the work of the Police and each Department. The judges were initially welcomed by Mr. Fatos Haziri, Director of the Training Department who then continued with the importance of cooperation between the Kosovo Police and the Judicial system.
From this visit judges also extended their knowledge on the legal basis and departments of the Kosovo Police, the organized crime and types of financial investigation, international cooperation in the law enforcement area that Kosovo has with other countries, as well as challenges that police members face which relate to the work of the judges, in which case they had the possibility to raise issues of interest to their practical work, where one of the discussed issues was discussions related to cybercrime, and the joint border investigation.
The training methodology was carried out in combination of conversations and illustration of practical cases.
Beneficiaries of this training are the newly appointed judges (generation XII).
