Training Program in Non-Judicial Institutions - Visit of Newly Appointed Judges to the High-Security Prison - Generation XIII

On November 26, 2025, as part of the practical training with non-judicial institutions, the newly appointed judges of the thirteenth generation visited the Correctional Service-High-Security Prison in Dyz.

The newly appointed judges were hosted by the Director, Mr. Rasim Selmani, who welcomed the prosecutors and considered the purpose of this visit appropriate, highly appreciated the cooperation with the Academy of Justice to continue with the mandate, history and challenges of this institution.

The Director and other representatives of this institution presented information to the newly appointed judges, where they were informed about the work that is done in the high-security prison, how prisoners are treated, the conditions it has, and the implementation of procedures.

The newly appointed judges had the opportunity to see up close the pavilions, the residential area, the visitors' halls, the intelligence unit, the outpatient clinic where prisoners are treated, and the assessment and classification unit.

The beneficiaries of this visit were 21 newly appointed judges, including one member from the Serbian community, 2025/2026.
