Training Program at non-judicial institutions: Visit by newly appointed judges to the Institute of Forensic Medicine
On September 17, 2026, as part of the initial training program for the 14th and 15th generations of judges, the Academy of Justice organized a visit to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
The judges were hosted by the Institute's Director, Mr. Agron Thaqi, who extended a welcome and thanked the Academy for organizing the event. Dr. Musa Gashi also addressed the group, sharing important information regarding forensic medicine and its role in supporting judicial authorities. Insights were provided on forensic expertise, facilities, and investigations conducted in the service of the law, as well as on technical-scientific investigation methods and forensic reasoning and judgment.
Additionally, the judges had the opportunity to tour the toxicology laboratory and the autopsy rooms.
The participants in this visit included 19 newly appointed judges from the 14th generation, and 18 judges from the 15th generation, including two judges from the Serbian community.
