Referral of cases to the mediation procedure

On September 25, 2025, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, is conducting the training on the topic “Referral of cases to the mediation procedure, its development into mandatory mediation especially in family cases and approval or cancellation of mediation agreements in civil cases (Prishtina, Ferizaj, Gjilan and Mitrovica)”.

The engaged trainer is Mr. Adnan Konushevci, Judge at the Court of Appeal.

Purpose of this training is to provide detailed explanations of the mediation procedure, starting from the moment of referral of the case, explaining its development into mandatory mediation, especially in family cases, as well as describing the procedure for approving or canceling mediation agreements and their effect in practice.

The training methodology applied interactive discussions, application of best practice examples that provide adequate explanations of the referral process, approval or rejection of agreements reached in mediation, and in mandatory mediation.

Beneficiaries of this training are: Judges from the basic instance and Mediators.
