The Role of the Court in Controlling the Lawfulness of Indictments

On May 14, 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, will conduct a training session on the topic The Role of the Court in Controlling the Lawfulness of the Indictment.” ] The trainers for this activity are Mr. Bashkim Hyseni, Judge at the Supreme Court of Kosovo, and Mr. Valdet Gashi, Prosecutor at the Special Prosecution Office.

The training aims to advance practical and legal knowledge regarding the filing, control and completion of the indictment, as well as the handling of procedural issues in the initial review phase, according to the provisions of the CPCRK.

The methodology combines theoretical explanations with interactive discussions and the presentation of practical case studies.

The beneficiaries of this program include judges from the basic courts across all regions, prosecutors from the Special Prosecution Office and basic prosecution offices across all regions, and Officials from Kosovo Customs.
