Effective Trials: Tools for Better Case Management
On November 19, 2025, the Academy of Justice, in cooperation with the Council of Europe – Strengthening the Quality and Efficiency of Justice Project (KOSEJ III), organized a training session within the framework of the Continuous Training Program on the topic “Effective Trials: Tools for Better Case Management.”
The training was delivered by Ms. Marie-Paule Lugbull, Head of the Management and Professional Development Division at the National School of Justice (École Nationale de la Magistrature – ENM). Ms. Lugbull has an extensive judicial background, having previously served as President of the Court of Appeal of Saint-Malo and at the Supreme Court of Argentan.
The objective of this training was to enhance participants’ skills for more proactive case management, including strengthening early communication with parties and establishing effective procedural calendars.
The training methodology combined theoretical input with interactive discussions, enabling participants to engage actively and reflect on tools for improving the efficiency of judicial proceedings.
The beneficiaries of this training were professional associates from courts and prosecution offices.
