Kosovo Justice Academy’s Donor Coordination Meeting

July 19 2023, Kosovo Justice Academy conducted a donor’s coordination meeting.

Purpose of this meeting was to introduce the achievements and challenges of the Justice Academy for the period of January-July 2023, with emphasis in its Continuous Training Program that has a considerable support by donors, and on the needs for support for the remaining part of the year and for the 2024.

At this meeting the Director of the Academy expressed gratitude for the continuous support of the Academy by the donors and projects, and continued with introducing the training program activities that were accomplished during the period of January – July 2023. The lack of budget in comparison with the training requests and needs was highlight of this meeting.

The meeting continued with discussion on the planned trainings for the second part of 2023, respectively for September – December 2023 and coordination with donors about the support for these activities.

All the present partners of the KJA, reconfirmed their support for the Academy with expertise, trainings capacity development in the area of human rights and based on the requests and the needs of the Justice Academy.

The meeting concluded with confirmation of commitment by representatives of the Academy donors for further support in carrying out these activities and fulfil its legal mandate.
