Meeting with the Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution Office
on 30 June 2026, the Executive Director of the Academy of Justice, together with the Director of the Training Programs Department, met with the Chief Prosecutor of the Appellate Prosecution Office, Mr. Agron Bajrami, and colleagues as part of the training needs assessment process for drafting the Training Program for 2027.
During the meeting, priorities for advancing prosecutors' professional knowledge were discussed, with a focus on organizing additional training activities in organized crime, corruption, asset confiscation, human rights standards, judicial practice, and inter-institutional cooperation.
The importance of organizing joint roundtables and workshops between judges and prosecutors, establishing legal research activities, and exchanging experiences with countries in the region and EU countries was also emphasized.
The meeting ended with the confirmation of the readiness to continue cooperation between the Academy of Justice and the Appellate Prosecutor's Office in order to continuously advance the professional knowledge of prosecutors and other professionals of the prosecutorial system.
