Meeting with the Acting President of the Administrative Court to Assess Training Needs for 2027
On July 9, 2026, as part of the process of assessing the training needs of judges, prosecutors, and other legal staff within the courts and prosecutor’s offices, the Academy of Justice held a meeting with the Acting President of the Administrative Court, Mr. Rexhep Gashi. Representing the Academy of Justice were its Executive Director, Mr. Enver Fejzullahu, along with staff from the Training Program Department.
The purpose of the meeting was to identify the priorities and challenges faced in judicial practice at this court and to explore ways in which the Academy of Justice could address them through training and other professional development initiatives.
President Gashi expressed appreciation for the dedication of the judges of the Administrative Court and acknowledged the Academy’s role in strengthening professional capacities. In discussing proposals, particular emphasis was placed on organizing round tables to unify judicial practice in administrative matters. Special focus was given to cases involving social schemes, labor disputes, and fiscal issues, as many of the judges handling these cases are relatively new to the bench.
This meeting marked the conclusion of the Academy’s cycle of consultations with courts and prosecutor’s offices. The next step will be a joint workshop with all stakeholders to guide the development of the 2027 training program.
