Handling of classified information in judicial proceedings

On February 19-20, 2025, the Justice Academy within the Continuous Training Program, is conducting the training on “Handling of classified information in judicial proceedings”.

The trainers engaged in this activity are Mr. Bashkim Hyseni, judge at the Supreme Court of Kosovo and Mr. Admir Shala, prosecutor at the Special Prosecution Office of Kosovo.

Purpose of this training is to provide participants with theoretical and practical knowledge on handling and use of classified information as evidence in judicial proceedings.

The training methodology is a combination of interactive discussion, presentation of cases from the judicial practice of Kosovo, case studies from the judicial practice of the ECtHR.

Beneficiaries of this training are Judges from the Basic instance, professional associates from the Courts and the Prosecution Offices, as well as officials of the Agency for the Protection of Classified Information.
