Handling Conflict of Interest for Judges and Prosecutors
On February 12, 2026, the Academy of Justice, as part of its Continuous Training Program, will hold a training on “Handling Conflict of Interest for Judges and Prosecutors.”
The session will be led by Mr. Bahri Hyseni, Prosecutor at the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor and Mr. Agron Behrami, Head of the Division for Control and Verification of Assets The training is designed to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of judges and prosecutors in identifying, preventing, and managing conflicts of interest in line with legal and ethical standards.
Its ultimate goal is to safeguard the independence and impartiality of the justice system, thereby strengthening public trust in judicial institutions.
The methodology combines theoretical instruction with interactive discussions and the presentation of practical case studies.
Participants: Judges and prosecutors at the basic level, as well as prosecutors from the Appellate Prosecution Office.
