Roundtable Discussion on Challenges in Implementing Legal Provisions on Confiscation under the Laws on Inspectorates of the Republic of Kosovo
On 04 May 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, in cooperation with GIZ and the Office of the General Inspector (OGI), is hosting a roundtable discussion on the topic: “Challenges in Implementing Legal Provisions on Confiscation under the Laws on Inspectorates of the Republic of Kosovo.”
The panel is consisting of Ms. Delushe Halimi, Judge at the Supreme Court, and Mr. Faton Ademi, Judge at the Supreme Court.
Purpose of the roundtable is to extend understanding of the gaps in mechanisms for implementing confiscation provisions within inspectorate laws, while also identifying practical challenges and exploring potential solutions.
The methodology in this roundtable is guiding discussions from issues raised during the session. Participants will address challenges by presenting practical examples, engaging in interactive dialogue, and proposing solutions aligned with current legislation.
Beneficiaries of this roundtable are judges at the basic court level, Inspectors from central and local inspectorates, and members of special inspection units.
