Roundtable discussion on changes in criminal legislation

On April 23, 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, is organizing a Roundtable discussion on changes in Criminal Legislation.

The panelists involved are: Mr. Bahri Hyseni, Prosecutor at the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, and Mr. Agron Bajrami, Chief Prosecutor at the Appellate Prosecution Office.

The goal of the roundtable is to eliminate the dilemmas of the participants in handling complaints on the filing of criminal charges and the termination of investigations, including the rights of persons who have legal authorization to file an appeal against these decisions.

The methodology of the roundtable is interactive, the theoretical and practical instructions were provided by the criminalists regarding the interpretation of the new provisions of the KPCK, respectively articles 84 and 156 - the injured party as a party to the procedure.

The beneficiaries of this roundtable are: Prosecutors, professional associates from the Basic and Appellate levels, as well as victim advocates.
