Criminal Offenses Against Official Duty and Organized Crime with Special Emphasis on Public Procurement
On 01-02 April 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, is conducting the training on “Criminal Offenses Against Official Duty and Organized Crime with Special Emphasis on Public Procurement”.
Trainers engaged in this training are: Mr. Valon Kurtaj, Judge at the Court of Appeal and Mr. Admir Shala, Prosecutor at the Special Prosecution.
The purpose of this training is to elaborate on abuse of official duty, bribery, conflict of interest, abuse or fraud in public procurement, how these criminal offenses can be committed within the framework of organized crime, and when these criminal offenses are committed through actions arising from public procurement where the public good that is violated is the country's budget.
The training methodology is of a combined nature with interpretation, PowerPoint presentation, discussions, treatment of hypothetical cases and treatment from judicial practice.
Beneficiaries of this training are: Judges, prosecutors and officials from the Kosovo Police Inspectorate.
