Criminal Offenses Against Sexual Integrity

On March 12, 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of its Continuous Training Program, is organizing the training on “Criminal Offenses Against Sexual Integrity.”

The trainers engaged in this program are Ms. Albina Shabani Rama, Judge at the Court of Appeal, and Mr. Shpëtim Peci, Prosecutor at the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica.

Purpose of the Training is to provide clear explanations regarding criminal offenses against sexual integrity, their defining characteristics, and the prosecutor’s role in investigating such cases. Special emphasis is placed on the protection of children and on avoiding ambiguities in judicial practice.

The training methodology applies a combined methodology, integrating theoretical explanations with interactive discussions. Practical case studies are also presented to illustrate how these offenses are addressed in judicial proceedings.

Beneficiaries of the training are judges, prosecutors, and investigators, who play a direct role in handling cases related to sexual integrity.
