Criminal Offenses Against Sexual Integrity - Justice for Children

On April 23-24, 2025, the Academy of Justice within the Continuous Training Program, in cooperation with KOMF, is conducting the training on Criminal Offenses Against Sexual Integrity - Justice for Children.

The trainers are Ms. Albina Shabani Rama – President of the Basic Court in Pristina, and Mr. Shpëtim Peci, Prosecutor at the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica.

Purpose of this training is to extend the participants knowledge and obtain best practices in applying methods for handling cases where children are victims of sexual violence, to reach the clearest possible conclusions in the interpretation of the legal provisions of the CCK, CPCK and JJC, in terms of handling such cases, taking into account the sensitivity of criminal offenses against sexual integrity, especially when children are victims.

The training methodology is interactive discussions with participants in the training, questions and discussions raised by the participants, application of best practices in handling cases when dealing with children - victims of sexual violence.

Beneficiaries of this training are: Judges and prosecutors, officials from the Office for Victim Assistance and Advocacy, professional associates, investigators from the Police Inspectorate and a psychologist.
