On November 07, 2025, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, conducted a training on the topic “Criminal Offenses Against the Environment.”

The purpose of this training was to enhance the knowledge and professional capacities of participants in the identification, prevention, and sanctioning of criminal offenses related to environmental crime, crimes against nature, and crimes against forests in the Republic of Kosovo.

Through this session, participants gained a deeper understanding of the legal framework governing environmental protection, while emphasizing the practical implementation of environmental legislation and the importance of inter-institutional cooperation in combating activities that harm the environment, forests, and natural resources. Ultimately, the training contributes to safeguarding the citizens’ right to a clean, safe, and sustainable environment.

The training methodology combined theoretical presentations with interactive discussions, focusing on the analysis of criminal offenses against the environment.
