Visit of the newly appointed Judges to the Kosovo Customs

Today, November 7, 2023, the newly appointed Judges (generation X) within the Initial Training Program are paying a visit to the Customs of the Republic of Kosovo.

This visit is a continuation of the the one made by Judges to non-judicial Institutions according to the initial training program.

The purpose of the visit is for the judges to become more familiar with the work and activities of the Customs, the history of the development of the customs, their competences, as well as the connection between the work of the judges and the customs.

The subject matter on this training is the customs criminal offences, the beginning of the procedure, investigative actions by the police, the collection of evidence up to the criminal report.

Criminal offenses of organized crime, smuggling of goods, defrauding consumers, giving and receiving bribes, abuse of official position will also be discussed.

The training is being conducted interactively between the participants and two trainers engaged by Customs, Mr. Liridon Buzhala and Mr. Ayat Sejdija.

The beneficiaries of the training are the newly appointed Judges (generation X).
