Risk Assessment in Cases of Domestic Violence

On March 27, 2023, the Academy of Justice, within the Continuous Training Program, in cooperation with OPDAT, conducted the training on the topic "Evaluation of Risk in Cases of Domestic Violence".

Trainers engaged in this training are: Mrs. Shenaj Berisha, prosecutor in the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Prishtina, Mr. John Hanley, Resident Legal Advisor, US embassy Embassy and Mrs. Eliza Thana from the US Embassy.

The purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of the participants regarding domestic violence, the conditions of detention, the vulnerable victim, the treatment of victims, inter-institutional communication, victim protection, mitigating and aggravating factors and risk indicators in cases of violence. In family.

The applied methodology is of a combined character, with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions.
