Application of the Most Favorable Law, Grounds for Exclusion of Illegality, Special Part of Criminal Law and Criminal Offenses against Sexual Integrity

On July 29, 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Continuous Training Program, conducted the Basic Module training for legal officers in the criminal field on the topic “Application of the Most Favorable Law, Grounds for Exclusion of Illegality, Special Part of Criminal Law and Criminal Offenses against Sexual Integrity.”

The trainers engaged in this training were: Mr. Afrim Shala, Judge at the Supreme Court of Kosovo; Mr. Shkelzen Ibrahimi, Prosecutor at the Appeals Prosecution Office.

The purpose of this training was to advance the knowledge of participants regarding key topics in criminal law, with special emphasis on: Application of the Most Favorable Law; Causes for Exclusion of Illegality; The Special Part of Criminal Law; Criminal Offenses against Sexual Integrity.

The methodology applied was combined in nature, consisting of both theoretical explanations and interactive discussions.

Beneficiaries of this training were Legal Officers from the KJCS, Courts, and Prosecutors' Offices across all regions of Kosovo.
