Official corruption and criminal offenses against official duty

On May 14-15, 2024, the Academy of Justice in cooperation with WBROLI, within the Continuous Training Program, are conducting the roundtable on "Official corruption and criminal offenses against official duty".

Engaged trainers are: Mr. Bashkim Hyseni, judge at the Appeals Court, Mrs. Laura Pula, prosecutor in the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Nathaniel Rudolf, Barrister of the King's Council (KC), Judge of the first instance tribunal assigned to the Taxation Chamber and Mr. Simon Clements, former prosecutor - Crown Prosecution Service.

Purpose of this training is to advance the knowledge of the participants regarding the elements of the criminal offense of abuse of office, Fraud in procurement as a complex criminal offense; Fiscal fraud, Tax evasion/Customs.

The training methodology is of a combined character with theoretical explanations and interactive discussions, also presenting practical cases.

Beneficiaries: Judges from the Appeals Court, the Basic Courts and Judges of the Special Department, Prosecutors from the Appeals Prosecution, SPRK, Basic Prosecution and investigators from the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo.
