On 28–29 May and 01–12 June 2026, the Academy of Justice, within the framework of the Initial Training Program for newly appointed judges of the fourteenth generation, conducted 12 sessions of theoretical training from the Contested Procedure – Part One module. This module is part of the curriculum on Civil, Administrative, and Economic Laws.

The training was delivered with the support of Mr. Zenel Leku, Judge at the Supreme Court, and Mr. Faton Ademi, Judge at the Supreme Court.

The module covered the following key topics: principles of contested procedure; general reviews related to the topic; regular composition of the court and exclusion of a judge; parties to the contested procedure; submissions and delivery of documents; hearings, deadlines, and return to the previous state; termination of the procedure by court decision; types of judgments under the Law on Contested Procedure (LCP); regular legal remedies; extraordinary legal remedies; simulation of a hearing with reference to evidence.

The training methodology emphasized interactive learning and was based on practical case studies. Within the framework of this module, a courtroom simulation was also carried out at the Supreme Court, providing participants with practical exposure to procedural dynamics.

The beneficiaries of this training were 19 newly appointed judges of the 2025/2026 generation.
