The Indictment

On October 13, 2026, the Academy of Justice is conducting a training session titled "The Indictment" as part of its Continuous Training Program. The trainers engaged for this session are Mr. Afrim Shala, a judge at the Supreme Court, and Mr. Valdet Gashi, Deputy Chief Prosecutor at the Special Prosecution Office. The aim of this training is to enhance the professional knowledge of judges and prosecutors regarding the drafting of indictments in compliance with legal requirements, judicial review of indictments, and the proper application of procedures for amending and expanding indictments during court proceedings, while ensuring adherence to the principle of legality and the rights of the accused. The training methodology is combined, incorporating theoretical explanations, interactive discussions, and the analysis of practical cases. The beneficiaries of this training are judges and prosecutors from the basic level.
