On November 7, 2012, Kosovo Judicial Institute within its scope conducted a training session on the aforementioned topic.
As a result of this roundtable, participants will be able to:
- Identify the organizational structure and the competences of the courts according to the Law on Courts;
- Apply properly the legal provisions dealing with the role and the responsibilities of judges according to the Law on Courts;
- Identify the difficulties which will raise up when implementing the Law on Courts.
During this roundtable were discussed issues regarding the implementation of the Law on Courts, the preparation and implementation planning, organization, operation and jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Kosovo, the rights and obligations under the new law on courts as well as for the transitional provisions of this law.
The beneficiaries of this roundtable were the presidents of the courts and judges from all regions of Kosovo.
