December 12 2022, Academy of Justice within the Initial Training Program for the second group pf newly appointed judges (generation 9) is conducting a theoretical training on “Witnesses and injured parties in criminal proceeding” with trainer Mr. Valon Kurtaj, judge of the Special Department – Prishtina Basic Court.
The first training session of this sub-module on Witnesses and injured parties in criminal proceeding are covering the following: witnesses in a criminal process, types of witnesses in general and according to CPCRK, witnesses waived from the obligation to testify, testimony in e criminal procedure, preliminary procedure and in court hearing, as well as the right of witness not to incriminate himself or his relatives.
Training methodology is interactive and based on practical cases.
Beneficiaries of this training are 18 newly appointed judges.
