On July 8, 9 and July 10, 2013, KJI in cooperation with RIPA International, held a training on the above-mentioned topic.
The purpose of this training was to enhance the knowledge about financial investigations in corruption cases and strengthen the cooperation between law enforcement agencies in Kosovo and in an international level.
This training addressed issues concerning the inter-institutional work, intelligence, information management and financial investigation. The training also addressed issues about overcoming barriers in order to increase the efficiency of work between agencies involved in investigating and combating financial crime and corruption.
Participants of the training, through hypothetical cases had the opportunity to analyze current methods of financial investigation in Kosovo, and discuss the possibility of improving and advancing such practices.
Beneficiaries of the training were basic courts judges, customs officials, police officials and Kosovo Anticorruption Agency officials.
