Training of Trainers on European Convention on Human Rights 

On June 7 and 8, 2012, KJI in cooperation with the Twinning Project (EU-LER) conducted the training of trainers on the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. 

The purpose of this training was to prepare the module on teaching Human Rights in Kosovo. 
The main objectives of this training were that participants after its completion will be able to:
• Determine the topics and subtopics that will be included in the teaching module;
• Make the selection of local practical cases based on the cases from the Constitutional Court of Kosovo;
• Identify the trainers and the specific topics that will be addressed by them.

During this training the local trainers presented the chapters according to the table of content of the module and in cooperation with international trainers which commented the topics and articles that will be addressed in the Module emphasizing that there should be included as many cases as possible from the case-law. 
The beneficiaries of this training were a group of judges, prosecutors and other legal professionals. Such trainings will be conducted in several cycles for two months in a row.
