Training of Trainers – Adjudication of the Public Corruption Cases

Today - September 5, 2023, Academy of Justice and the CEELI Institute within the scope of their cooperation continued with the second session of the Training of Trainers on Adjudication of Public Corruption Cases.

Initially the participants were addressed and welcomed by the AJ Executive Director Mr. Enver Fejzullahu, expressing the gratitude for the efforts of two judges coming from the Unites States Mr. Jonathan Hawley and Mr. Anthony Porcelli, and thanked the local trainers for their devotion in attending this training.

Mr. Fejzullahu continued with the special acknowledgment for the Executive Director of CEELI Institute, Mrs. Quinn O’Keefe and the NGO “FOL” with whom the AJ formalized singing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Academy of Justice and the CEELI Institute, that will result with many common activities.

This training of trainers that is a continuation of the first session that took place in the Czech Republic, aims to further develop and increase the professional capacities of the local trainers in the public corruption area, incorporating the experience of judges from the United States of America.

Beneficiaries of this training are the AJ local trainers, mainly coming from the rank of judges from the appeals instance, and from the special Department of the Basic Court.
