The National and European Judicial Practices in the Field of International Refugee Protection

On June 19, 2025, the Academy of Justice with the support of CRPK/UNHCR Partner, within the Continuous Training Program, is conducting the training on the National and European Judicial Practices in the Field of International Refugee Protection.

The trainers engaged in this activity are Ms. Delushe Halimi, Judge at the Supreme Court of Kosovo, and Mr. Memli Ymeri, Executive Director – Civil Rights Program Kosovo (CRP/K).

Purpose of this training is to advance the participants knowledge on reviewing cases for international protection in an objective and impartial manner, and in the application of the same legal criteria and common international standards when determining who meets the conditions for international protection.

The training methodology is interactive discussions and presentation of issues through practical cases.

Beneficiaries of this training are: judges from the Basic instance, professional associates and officials of the National Commission for Refugees and the Department for Citizenship, Asylum and Migration.
